Our job search support specialists will work with you closely to tailor your resume and cover letter and to ensure that you maximize your chances of finding a teaching position here in Newark.
Interviewing
Having a successful interview is key to finding (and landing) the right teaching position for you. If admitted to our hiring pool, we will work with you on successful interviewing methods through workshops, individualized coaching, and/or mock interview sessions.

Our job search support specialists will be available to provide one-on-one sessions to answer any questions that you may have about your job search.
Online Profile Distribution
TeacherNex will create an online profile on your behalf, which principals and hiring personnel will be able to access at any point, after you have become eligible to interview with our partner principals. As you embark on your job search, our job search support specialists will also advocate for your candidacy by referring you to our partner principals who have confirmed vacancies and who believe that you are a strong fit for their school and the given position.
School Fit Questionnaire
Before beginning the job search process, all TeacherNex candidates will fill out a school-fit questionnaire that is designed to match you to schools and positions that have a higher likelihood of being a good fit for your personal preferences, style and educational philosophy. Your responses on this questionnaire will help inform all decisions that our job search support specialists make in referring you to the right school leaders at our partner schools. We pay attention to teacher/school match in a way that no other job search process does.
Interview and Hiring Event Coordination
In addition to providing support in your job search, TeacherNex will coordinate interviewing opportunities when possible, including one-on-one interviews with principals and hiring personnel, networking events, and open houses at schools.
